Beardsley Pool

Palm Ridge Pool
Daily 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (indoor or outdoor, dependent on weather). |
Children must be able to safely handle a bowling ball and understand bowling
courtesy. Bumpers are available on Lanes 1 & 2 at the R. H. Johnson Lanes
(Sports Pavilion) which enables youngsters to keep the bowling ball on the
lane. |
Children under 12 may play golf if they can demonstrate to the satisfaction
of the Starter that they understand the rules of golf and are able to play
without disturbing the play of others. Children may not play during
weekly Club play or during the first two cross-overs or before 11 a.m.,
whichever comes first. REMINDER: Golf courses are for golfers only. No
walking, running, jogging, playing, etc. |

Children old enough to walk and carry a club safely and who do not interfere
with the peaceful enjoyment of members may play Mini-Golf at R.H. Johnson
and Beardsley Rec Centers. |
Children must be over 52" tall and be able to demonstrate to the
satisfaction of the Monitor that they can properly use a cue stick without
causing damage to the tables. |
No children are permitted in the fitness centers. |
Children are
guests
and must be admitted with a guest card
and signed in by a host member.
Adult supervision of children is required at all times.
These rules will be enforced by the
Monitors and Starters
to assure proper use of Recreation Center facilities for
the enjoyment of residents and their invited guests.

Guests of all ages
The
Recreation Centers of Sun City West is a private, not-for-profit corporation.
Your guests are welcome here, however as all facilities are
private and for the exclusive use of Association members, your guests are
required to follow all rules of the Association. Their presence shall not
interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of the facilities by the members.

Adult guests not accompanied by a host member or tenant member must
present a guest card bearing the host's identity, with either the host's
valid association card or a Recreation Centers issued waiver letter.*
The Guest Card will be date stamped by the monitor, one date stamp per
guest, and afterward, for that date only, the guest card alone is required
for use of the Recreation Center facilities.
Children (anyone under 16 years of age) must be accompanied by a
responsible adult at all times.
How old
do kids have to be to swim, bowl, golf, etc.?
Guest Cards are available at the
Member Services office during regular working hours: Monday-Friday,
8:00am to 3:00pm.
Guest Cards are available at the R. H, Johnson Sports Pavilion only
during those times when the Member Services office is closed. July 31 -
Aug. 14 when the Sports Pavilion is closed, cards may be purchased at
Grandview Golf Course.
Guest Cards may only be purchased by a member, associate member
or tenant. The cost is $22 per card. Guest Cards have no expiration date
and may be used for more than one guest.
The Guest Card has ten numbered spaces on the back. Each is good for
one guest’s use for one day. The guest may use all facilities available to
him/her on the day stamped.
When the Card is presented, the monitor will stamp the date the guest
uses the facility in one of the spaces; one date stamp per guest.
Golf and bowling do not require a Guest Card, but the member must check
their guest in, and the appropriate guest fee must be paid.
The Guest Card is not refundable and will not be replaced if
lost.
Residents who are not members of the Association may NOT use Guest
Cards. If they are living in the household of a member, they may purchase
an Associate Membership.
*If a member is unable to accompany the guest due to
health reasons,
a medical waiver may be obtained from the Manager of Leisure
Services.
Waivers are issued for a specific time period.

Swimming Pool Rules

ALL PERSONS USING THE POOL OR SPA MUST:
|
- Check in with the monitor and show rec. card or guest pass.
- Wear appropriate swim attire (NO CUTOFFS)
- Dress/undress in the provided locker rooms.
- Shower before entering pool or spa.

| CHILDREN SWIM RULES: |
| Children under the age of four (4) will be permitted to use the swimming pool provided: |
- They are toilet trained.
- Only Swim Diapers are permitted in the pools.
- Children must adhere to the posted swim times at the various pools.
- Children MUST be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult for the length of the swim period.

| YOU MAY WEAR : |
- Facemasks
- Eye goggles
- Water shoes
- Snorkels
- Flotation devices or vests that fit close to the body. i.e. Noodles
- YOU MAY consume food under the covered lounge area only.

| YOU MAY NOT : |
- Use any other type of device without first obtaining a medical waiver after providing a written prescription from your Doctor.
- Bring glass containers or alcoholic beverages into the pool area.
- Wear street shoes into the pool area.
- Dive or jump into water from sides of the pool.
- Yell, scream, spit, or use profane language.
- Smoke with-in the pool area.
- Climb on rocks surrounding the waterfalls.

- Decks may be slippery when wet.
- Lifeguards are not provided, SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

| FAMILY SWIM SCHEDULE: |
- 10 am to 1 pm at RH Johnson
- 1 to 4 pm at Beardsley
- 4 to 7 pm at Palm Ridge (indoor or outdoor dependent on weather)

| The General Manager may authorize special swim time periods to accommodate special events, pool repair, or other special circumstances. |
